The strongest candidate, 'Co-Authored-By: Grok Build (xAI) <noreply@x.ai>', is 6 commits in a single repo; the wider 'Co-authored-by: Grok Build' family is ~176 commits all-time in inconsistent formats (a product default is byte-identical), and the bare 'Co-authored-by: Grok <noreply@x.ai>' trailer ran at tens per month before the May 2026 beta. All user-configured noise per the index noise rule, so Grok Build is not attributable; recheck if xAI ships default signing. The 'grok/' branch prefix shows tens of PRs per week and is unvalidated. Confirmed firsthand 2026-06-12: code committed and a PR opened through Grok Build carried the user's own identity with no trailer, marker, or bot involvement.
